  • 16 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I would like to oppose this amendment for the reason that this country has gone through a very difficult period of suspicion of the Judiciary. Many Kenyans have views that touch on this Judiciary. By including three foreigners, particularly senior judges either serving or retired, we want to introduce an element of objectivity, so that in the three boards one of the three will be a non-Kenyan.
