  • 30 Jul 2019 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. This is a very important Statement to each one of us. The issue of equality is something that has caused most of the challenges that we have in our country today. There are people who are not satisfied; there are people who are marginalised and who have never tasted the best part and portion of the resources that we have. Due to that, I support this Statement. I believe that it will come to my Committee on National Cohesion, Equal Opportunity and Regional Integration. We will give it all the attention it deserves, and all ... view

This is a good suggestion because most of the time, we do not keep proper records. We do things for the sake of it. Therefore, by doing this, we are assured of proper records at the county level. I also suggest that we have a national data collection centre where we can get the data of people who are suffering, what stage they are, the medication they are taking and how the country and county is taking care of them. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I ... view
  • 23 Jul 2019 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I stand to support the Statement by Sen. (Dr.) Musuruve on increased cases of road traffic accidents involving boda boda operators on Kenyan roads. We all know what is happening, not only in the city, but also in our villages. That means we have a challenge of boda boda operators. view
  • 23 Jul 2019 in Senate: I support the Statement, so that we have rules and regulations that guide people. Some of the people who operate as boda bodas riders are underage. Only people who have attained the maturity age should be allowed to do so. Some of them carry three or even four passengers on a motorbike and that is dangerous. view
