  • 1 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Mhe Naibu Spika wa Muda, hatuelewani.
  • 1 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Bw. Tatizo lilitokea kuchelewesha malipo ... view
  • 1 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I just want to point out that we have been scaling up slowly in the whole country depending on the amount of money we get from Treasury. We started off with a few homes and beneficiaries who numbered 300. view
  • 1 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, we started off with about 300 households in the whole country, and we have since gone to 124,000. That was as at the end of June 2011. We are still scaling upwards. Once we get more money, we will add more people to this safety net. As it is, the amount of money which we have cannot cover the country at one go. So, we are scaling up slowly and I think we are doing very well, as far as this programme is concerned. view
  • 1 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Bw.

  • 30 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I will donate three minutes to Mr. Namwamba and two minutes each to the rest. view
  • 30 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, let us also allow hon. Kivuti some two minutes. view
  • 30 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. First of all, I want to congratulate Dr. Otichilo for bringing this Motion. I do believe the time has come for us to embrace geo- information. That is the only way forward for us. The Government has already embraced this concept. In almost all our primary and secondary schools, our children are studying Information Technology (IT). We have equipped our schools with computers. I believe we are moving in the right direction by promoting e-learning in our schools and other learning institutions. I do agree with all my colleagues who have spoken before ... view
