  • 5 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Currently, I have an Assistant Chief who comes from a different location. The people have complained about this but the District Commissioner has said that he must work for at least one year before they can consider that case. Can he, therefore, confirm that an Assistant Chief has to come from the particular sub-location he has been appointed to serve? view
  • 30 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, could the Assistant Minister tell us how many times this bank breached these prudential guidelines that warranted its closure? • 24 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, those amendments should not be deleted. I want to inform hon. Members, that it is not the NIS that is going to act on those State organs. Sub-clause 6 says that it is in the National Security Council that those State organs shall be referred to and not NIS. We should not delete these clauses. After all, we are spending a lot of money on the Service. view

We have wanted to contribute, but due to time, we were not able. If we told the Deputy Leader of Government Business, hon. Kimunya, to come here on a Sunday, he would not come. So, I want to thank my Muslim brothers, who forewent their Friday, which is their prayer day and sat here the whole day. If you ask hon. Kimunya to come here on a Sunday, he will never agree. ... view
