What we should be saying here is: "and includes a deputy registrar and an assistant registrar of the trade unions". That is because under the deputy registrar, there will be officers that are assistants. view

Therefore, deleting this clause would not be quite right. So, I propose that Clause 4 be amended as it appears on the Order Paper. view
