  • 19 Dec 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I note that His Excellency the President did all these things as a human being with human failures like all of us. As Kenyan and someone who deeply believes in this country and, of course as someone who has children for whom I expect a secure future, there are issues that concern me and all Kenyans: The issue of security, youth unemployment, national cohesion and societal conviviality among the different groups in Kenya. view
  • 19 Dec 2012 in National Assembly: As His Excellency the President goes to retirement, I would request him to reflect upon these issues because, in my view, these four issues have been responsible for holding back the promise of Kenya. I wish to pray to the Almighty God that whoever shall get the privilege of succeeding His Excellency the President shall not only tackle these four issues head-on, but do it with absolute zeal. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I pray to God to bless His Excellency the President and our country which, in my view, is the most beautiful place on earth, and also to bless all ... view
  • 21 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the issue of patients dying in the hands of doctors and nurses as a result of negligence is a worrying concern. The Minister knows that I have been having two running cases regarding Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) where, clearly, some amount of negligence is evident from the way the patients were handled and yet no action, apparently, has been taken. Could the Minister confirm or deny that the attitude of people at his Ministry is making many Kenyans die because doctors know that whether they kill people or not, no action will be taken against them? view
  • 21 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. The Minister should realize that some of these questions are very personal to us because they involve negligent killing of relatives. How can he say that the Board is meticulous when he knows that for two years, I have raised the case of my brother with him and the Board has not even contacted me? These cases are personal and the Minister cannot come here and invoke the name of God when the doctors are negligent. view

  • 21 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, is the Minister in order to say that he is not aware of that case when I have written to him more than four letters? This is a---- view
  • 21 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, can you give me up to tomorrow morning to bring those letters here? view
  • 20 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, mine is to seek a further clarification from the Minister on what action he is going to take on the confusion that has come up in Rarieda Constituency due to registration centres being taken from locations outside the wards. What action is he going to take against the former Constituency Election Coordinator in Rarieda, a Mr. Orwa, who unilaterally and against the law decided without consultation to create polling centres where it is impractical to do so? He has also moved polling centres outside the wards, in particular my own polling station which has been moved from ... view
  • 20 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank my good friend and able Minister, Mr. Wamalwa. In principle, I rise to support. view
  • 20 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Could you protect me? There is a lot of loud consultations. view
