Mr. Speaker, Sir, I stand to support the Motion primarily because it is important that the three new Members, Messrs. Aghostinho Neto Oyugi, Moses ole Sakuda, and Tirus Ngahu, also get a chance to do Committee work. Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move a further amendment:- THAT, the Regulations be amended by inserting the following new sub-regulation in Regulation 13- . The rationale for this proposed amendment is clear. We have had instances in this country where political parties present more than one name for one position. So, the proposed amendment is for complete avoidance of doubt.

Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT the Regulations be amended in Regulation 23 by inserting the words “or county, as the case may be” at the end of sub-regulation (1). Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, the only way it can come back is through a re-committal. How else can it come back? I need to be guided.
