I have talked about employment of the youth. It was mentioned in the Speech. We have talked about Nyumba Kumi and it was also in the Speech. That is because we had been told that MPs would participate in the projects this financial year. We just have the team from Nairobi coming to the constituency level and starting their work. Who normally identifies these projects? Some of these projects have become white elephants in those areas, especially in my area.   • 26 Mar 2014 in National Assembly: national flag is not a piece of cloth, which we can allow to be carried by everybody across the country. Those who have been allowed to fly the national flag as per the Bill before us are those who have united us, namely, the President, the Deputy President, the two Speakers and the Chief Justice. The counties also need to have their own flags, so that they can unite the people in the counties. view

I am one of the people who have been marginalized for all those years. This Fund is meant to bring the marginalized areas at par with the rest of the country. This Fund can bring good things to the people of Turkana East or the people of Turkana at large. When we talk about roads, water, electricity and schools, they are not there.
