  • 1 Sep 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, because this touches on the security of Kenyans and there are allegations that Kenyans have lost their lives, I want to address the Statement to the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security. view
  • 1 Sep 2010 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. This matter is very urgent because my constituents have been frustrated for the last many hours. They have made frenzy calls to friends and relatives, warning them that members of the public are losing their lives. If we hold the country at ransom to deliver such information--- view
  • 31 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I think the Minister is misleading the House, because in the local terminal at the JKIA there is no prayer room. Maybe, he has referred to the international terminal. What hon. Yakub has asked is whether the Minister can provide a prayer room at the local terminal. view
  • 31 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to correct that I come from Coast Province! view
  • 31 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Minister has cancelled results for some districts because of inconsistencies that he has cited. I want to ask him: Why he does not want to appreciate the diversities of this country? In a country, you will have one, two or three unique districts! In northern Kenya, there are men with four wives! Why would you want to doubt the reproductive capacity of a man with four wives? view
  • 31 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Minister would want to contravene his own census results by declaring that the reason as to why he is canceling them in some districts in the upper north of this country is because he has a female to male ratio of one to three, when the results he produced this morning show the opposite. They have a ratio of about one to one. So, why would the Minister want to create a wrong impression? view
  • 31 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: This is for Mandera Central, page 102. Even generally for North Eastern Province, he has 1.2 million against 1.052 million. I would want to ask whether that in simple mathematics means one to three. view
  • 26 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, we have already felt a lot of criminality because of miscarriage of justice due to poor police prosecution and gathering of evidence where criminals who should have been behind bars are let go just because the police are not able to avail before the judges, enough evidence to have them jailed. We get even more worried if the fact comes out that these same hardcore criminals are pardoned to come and cause havoc within our society. Maybe, they are driven by the fact they have been behind bars for very many years and after coming ... view
  • 26 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I would advice Prof. Anyang’-Nyongo’--- view
  • 26 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I think the reasons thereof as to why we are seeking to amend the amendment suggested by Dr. Khalwale to push the time to 2.30 p.m. has been elucidated by hon. Mbadi to 3.00 p.m. Mr. Speaker, Sir, besides the reasons that we should accord our Muslim brothers and sisters enough time to go and break their fast, besides the reasons that Members of Parliament should be sworn in before they are sworn in as Cabinet Ministers, I think the Vice President had advanced the issue that we would have very many visitors and we ... view
