  • 10 Jul 2024 in Senate: Asante sana, Bw. Spika. Ningependa kumpa ndugu yangu Sen.
  • 10 Jul 2024 in Senate: matatu makubwa. Kwanza, unajieleza vilivyo, pili inaleta uuiyano; ukishaleta uuiano, unaweza kufanya biashara. Ni lugha ambayo uki zungumza, hata ukisema “pole, sikukusudia kukukanyaga” mtu anaelewa na ajua kiroho hatasikia vile ulivyomuumiza. Ningependa kumsifu ndugu yangu Sen.
  • 10 Jul 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I am happy to see the Prime Cabinet Secretary even though his view may be a bit blocked, but I hope he is seeing me from where he is. First, I am happy that the Prime Cabinet Secretary is dealing with this issue. I have previously worked in the same position he is working at now. The one thing that has shocked me is that nothing happened to the issues we were talking about 10 years ago. I would like the Prime Cabinet Secretary to tell me that out of all the bilateral labour agreements ... view
  • 10 Jul 2024 in Senate: and conditions are. I, therefore, hope that when the Minister signs those agreements, he will enable the Committee on Labour and Social Welfare of the Senate to interrogate that agreement and make sure that we understand what is in it, what we have gained and if any, what the terms and conditions are. Madam Temporary Speaker, the last issue is a continuum of the last question. I do not know whether the Prime Cabinet Secretary is aware of what is in the social media. Somebody posted that they are currently in Iowa, in the United States of America (USA) and ... view
  • 3 Jul 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I have been here since morning and I appreciate being given this opportunity. view
  • 3 Jul 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I stand here a very sad person and yet, I am deeply happy because it has been something I have been dealing with on a personal level. This is in terms of my responsibility as a legislator. Before I proceed with saying any other thing, I would like to mention a few names. Just like my colleagues have said, I knew my brother, Sen. Aaron Cheruiyot, was worthy, but I now know that he is much more worthy than I thought he was. He has surprised me. I remember I once made a phone call ... view
  • 3 Jul 2024 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, I have served as an Assistant Minister. I went to Cote d'Ivoire, sent by the late President Kibaki, to visit President Gbagbo. I got into his house, he was wearing a vest. At that time, the military was around him, he was being deposed. Two weeks later, he went home with his wife half-naked. Those are not sins that Africa should be proud of. Our country has broken down and has challenges. However, before I go to what we can do in a short notice, I would like to ask the President, and I asked him the ... view
  • 3 Jul 2024 in Senate: children go to school and which properties of land you have. Why must somebody have four million acres of land to his name? What happened to our mentality that we pretend and run to churches talking about Christianity and how Jesus--- Do you understand what you are dealing with? The people out here do not even believe in God anymore. They are tired of the lies and the religious organizations. I have to say this because I am a Catholic. I was so happy I saw the Pope talk about the issues of a country. Let us forget that we ... view
  • 3 Jul 2024 in Senate: When the Cabinet Secretary is traveling out of the country and he has how many people accompanying him. He has a private jet, goes to Dubai, books one of those luxury hotels and comes back to Nairobi with the nine people he took in a private jet. You assume that the Gen Z do not know. These days they track you. They can know which private jet you took, where it went and how it came back. Many of us are worried either because of history or what has happened. We have a lot of money and own so much ... view
