For a government to be open and transparent, it must believe in the spirit of public participation. We have seen some decisions being made in this new Government which are not guided by the spirit of public participation. An example is the Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and many other issues. view

He also said that he will be a firm believer in democracy and the rule of law. Those of us on this side want the President to live to his word.
