  • 3 Oct 2024 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, this is an important piece of legislation. I would wish the Mover to also explain the import of the amendments. For example, the first amendment where it indicates; “to provide for a downward revision of the projected ordinary revenue.” Can we be explained to so that we understand the import of this? I know the importance of passing this Bill, but I have been in this process before and the Mover has the responsibility to explain the justification of the amendment. view

  • 3 Oct 2024 in Senate: Hospitals not submitting their financial statements to the Auditor-General for audit points to a wanting level of compliance with the reporting requirements as stipulated in the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, 2017.
