  • 15 Feb 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise under Standing Order No.95. I appreciate that the Member on the Floor is a member of the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade. Considering that most of us were in that vetting exercise and bearing in mind that the CRA was led by a very able Kenyan, Micah Cheserem, a former Governor of the CBK and a professional economist, much has been done in that Commission. The lady appeared before us and she performed fairly well. view

In fact, we urge the President to give Kenyans more food, more water and more monies to persuade them so that they register as voters. We are all aware that Jubilee areas have already hit the ceiling. view

  • 26 Jan 2017 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, we are speaking about the intelligence and dignity of this House. This is a House of rules. I saw a stranger in this House. I was just wondering. Was that a Member of Parliament, Al-Shabaab or a thug in this House? Is that the dress code in this House? Are there no Serjeants-At-Arms in this Chamber? Are we safe in this Chamber? view
