Temporary Deputy Chairlady, the proposed amendment which was considered by the Committee serves to clarify that when the Registrar of Persons is taking and entering details of a person in the register, he may enter a combination of sets of information. This will ensure that the person who lacks one of the more combinations of details is denied registration and, consequently, access to a national identity card and related benefits. view
