  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, let me also give a few reflections as I support this very important Motion. Let me start by thanking the Deputy Leader of Government Business for his very excellent role in this House. I would urge him to continue providing that vigor and spirit. In addition, let me also thank the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker and the Speakers Panel for providing critical leadership in this House. view
  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, regarding road accidents, it is vivid in our minds that many Kenyans have already lost their lives on the roads, families have been orphaned and students have perished on the roads. I would urge the Government to take decisive action to reduce the rate of accidents on our roads. The issue of corruption on the roads by our traffic police must also be addressed. Regarding school buses, I would urge the Minister for Education to reinstate the withdrawn insurance covers because if these buses are driven without insurance covers, it is like jeopardizing the lives ... view

What is the Ministry doing to make sure that quality and standards are maintained in the construction of this new facility? view
