Ours is to put up health centres, dispensaries and hospitals. If they are not there, we shall say so. The reasons why they are not there can be explained as I did before in terms of budgetary allocation. When it comes to bandits and creatures like those, there is a Ministry responsible for them. view

The university can be very far from that particular location, but it means that there is a facility somewhere to which a college refers to as a university. The same is true of medical services. You can have a sub-district hospital in Turkana South District without necessarily having a district hospital in that particular district, but there maybe, indeed, within the medical zone, which is constituted by several districts, a district hospital to which that sub-district refers. • 18 Aug 2009 in National Assembly: In the current financial year 2009/2010, the Ministry will repair leaking roofs, upgrade piping for medical gasses and prepare sites for installation of new medical equipment at Kakamega Provincial General Hospital at a cost of Kshs12.5 million. In the same period, the hospital will receive various medical equipment and plants worth Kshs76.7 million under a programme to equip 23 hospitals funded by the Netherlands Government. view
