11 Sep 2007 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir. Notwithstanding the fact that the Committee gave a clean bill of health, it does not follow that all hon. Members believe that the Committee did a good job!

11 Sep 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, you hurried us in the previous Vote! But I want to point out something very important, especially with regard to the point that I made earlier. If you add the Vote of the Ministry of Agriculture to that of the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Development, it comes to about Kshs7 billion. The Ministry spends a lot of money buying equipment which never reaches this country. So, there is too much wastage in the Ministry State for Defence. There is too much corruption!

29 Aug 2007 in National Assembly:

Any law, in this day and age, that gives monopoly to any company, be it in the private or public sector, is obviously against development. We have a Law Reform Commission in this country which has been more busy reforming laws that are ineffectual rather than those that can speed up development. I would urge that the Law ...

21 Aug 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, this Question is very important. First, there is the issue of Kshs16 million that was budgeted to be spent on this project in the Financial Year 2004/2005. Where is that money? Is it secured and will it go into this project? Secondly, regarding the question that the hon. Member has raised about design and bills, could the Assistant Minister assure this House that there will no longer be a repeat of the projects being tendered for and not being fulfilled so that the services that the people of Ngiya are looking for are not realised in the ...
