  • 11 Nov 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support this Motion and wish to congratulate Hon. (Ms.) Musyoka for this observation. Actually, we have situations where many of our Government institutions have these facilities in short supply like first aid boxes and the people who are supposed to use them in an emergency do not have that training at all. So, even the bigger hospitals have no facilities or units which are supposed to take care of emergency patients. So, we lose patients on transit to hospitals in such emergency cases. I rise to support this Motion. I support this noble idea on the East African Community Protocol on Cooperation in Defence Matters. My observation is that we have come to realise that we do not have to live thinking that either the other people are doing better or the opposite because we share common borders.   • 30 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: I now come to a point whereby we find that there are some criminals who steal money and run away to neighbouring countries and hide there. This could be one way of trying to trace them and bring them to book so that we can protect our economy in either way. On poaching, this could be one way of curbing this crime that has been escalating in some of our neighbouring countries. It also depends on how those other member states are going to take this issue.
