However, I would like to caution that, immediately after this Motion is passed by this House, we might witness some sort of scramble for land in the said areas. Once it is known that only the people who are squatting on land and those in the neighbouring villages will benefit from land re-allocation, we might see a lot of people rushing to those areas, so that they can also be considered. She has introduced other Motions in this House which have really had a lot of support from both the Front and Back benches.
