Dr Rachael Kaki Nyamai

Racheal, a trained teacher surprised many when she defied the Wiper Democratic Party wave in her region to easily win the Kitui South parliamentary seat. Charity Ngilu has been her inspiration since she was in school. In her term of service she would like to push for improved standard of education, adequate water, food security and equitable distribution of CDF in Kitui South.

  • 26 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: The Transition Authority failed to show leadership by hurriedly devolving functions without adequate consultations and proper frameworks and as a result, this exposed the sector to serious challenges that would have otherwise been mitigated. The Committee, therefore, recommends the reversal through consultation of some of the devolved functions and further restarting the process in an organized and consultative manner, taking into consideration the three year window that is provided by the Constitution. view
