In fact, it all emanates from the historical land injustices that were brought up through the 1904 and 1911 agreements. Those agreements were so unfair. They were pushed down the throats of the Maasai people. They are agreements that made them lose everything that was theirs. I remember when she fought for the preservation of Uhuru Park and Karura Forest. She underwent a lot, and at that time she was treated like a villager.
