  • 11 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I sincerely apologise because I am unable to proceed with this matter since I am not prepared. As you have heard, I have just come from a long trip and was not aware about this. I am sorry for that. I kindly request this matter be deferred to the next sitting, even if it is tomorrow. Sorry, on Tuesday I will be ready to proceed. I request the indulgence of the House. Thank you. view

  • 12 Oct 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I would also like to join my colleagues in supporting the Motion. I would like to start by saying that it is unfortunate that 60 years after independence, we are still fighting hunger in our country. I believe they should take their internal fights to their ... view

In agriculture, there is a colleague who talked about surplus of crops and potatoes. We have even seen in the past surplus of milk, whereby milk is poured down the drain. I think it is time that we ... view
  • 29 Sep 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I have two Papers that I am supposed to table. Unfortunately, on perusal, I found that the clerks had mixed the Papers. I apologise for that and request that I be given more time to put the Papers in order before tabling. I can work on them and table them tomorrow. view
