  • 15 Feb 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while I thank the Minister for the answer he has given, I find a lot of contradictions in it. At one point, the Minister has told the House that the retirement age for civil servants is 60. Whether they are permanent secretaries or chief executive officers in State Corporations, the age is 60. At the same time, if you heard the Minister he talked about the public service as a provision which will be now outside the law of retirement at 60. view
