  • 30 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: The NHIF Claims and Benefits Regulations of 2003 stipulate the procedure and timelines for contributors to access services and for hospitals to lodge claims. The NHIF obligation to PCEA Chogoria Hospital is to pay claims lodged for payment that meet the approval criteria set by the NHIF to a maximum of Kshs1,700 per day, which is the gazette rebate for the facility. view
  • 30 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: On when the outstanding claim shall be honoured to avert the collapse of the hospital, the NHIF had paid Chogoria Mission Hospital recently. That is between March and June, this year. The Fund paid a total amount of Kshs25,727,200 and a further Kshs2,404,100 will be paid by the end of June as per the Statement when it was being sought. view
