• 1 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: As far as this law is concerned, you cannot clone. A Member said that you can manipulate the eyes and hair. This proposed law does not allow that. It prohibits cloning. We want that to be understood very clearly outside there. Any person should read and understand that Hon. Mabona provides that cloning cannot be done. This is not cloning. It is fertilisation with assisted technology. view

• 30 Jun 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Whenever many of us drive along the roads, we see some performing artistes trying to earn a living in one way or another. Those people have been reduced to beggars yet they were earning their livelihoods in clubs and other places where they used to perform. I listened to the response from the Chair and he said that Kshs32 million went to the Permanent Presidential Music Commission. That is the bulk of the money. When you look at the division amongst the various groups, those are corporations that have budgetary allocations within the National Treasury. Did ... view

The pandemic has also affected our Standing Orders on how we should contribute during proceedings in the House. For instance, the other time when we were voting, some Members were even voting from distant places.
