  • 30 Sep 2015 in Senate: On a Point of Order. Is Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale in order to be attacking the Chair? We are not seeking clarification but the Leader of Minority has suggested the right way to go about it. Why can the Senator not stop and we proceed? view

  • 24 Sep 2015 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, you have ruled but I am not against your ruling. I just want to support Sen. • 23 Sep 2015 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, Sen. (Dr.) Machage has just “stolen from my mouth” what I wanted to say but additionally, I would like the Senator for Makueni or the Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Information and Technology, to tell us how many mobile phone companies have been taken to court for dealing with counterfeit goods. I believe there are a lot of counterfeit mobile phones in Kenya. When you buy a Samsung Phone in Nairobi, it is cheaper than a similar one in Dubai or Japan. Why is it so? view
  • 16 Sep 2015 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this very important Motion. Madam Temporary Speaker, I am not a spokesman of the Jubilee Government. However, I can honestly say that the Jubilee Government respects the rule of law. We respect what the Supreme Court said and we will abide by that. I am sure that the Government is short of money otherwise, it would have paid teachers. view
  • 16 Sep 2015 in Senate: On a point of order, Madam Temporary Speaker. I do not want to interrupt my good friend, but is he in order to say or show signs of waging a war against Jubilee Government? What does he mean? view
  • 15 Sep 2015 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I would like to inform the Chairman that I have not seen the Auditor-General’s report on Samburu County. I do not know how many other counties he has not laid here. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate. view
  • 23 Jul 2015 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. You have heard Sen. Musila talking of “flushing out”. Are these bandits or Kenyans? In Kenya, there are no bandits, but citizens. view
