The Ministry has developed policy frameworks and implemented the following intervention measures under the Kenya Education Sector Support Programme (KESSP) at the provincial and district levels towards addressing access, equity, transition, relevance and quality of education. We have disbursed grants worth Kshs506,387,000 between 2003 and 2010 for public secondary schools. We have implemented child friendly schools CFC programmes in collaboration with the United Nations International Children Fund (UNICEF).
