The elections for the membership of the Council shall be conducted by such body as the Council may propose and approved by the general meeting preceding the election. This clause should be amended to remove the express participation of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). We are proposing that the instances of expulsion be enlarged to include failure to attend four consecutive Council meetings by the President and the Council members. If they fail to attend at least four consecutive meetings, they cease to be effective. If you have failed four times, it means you have no interest in the work of the Society.
