• 10 May 2022 in Senate: I agree with Sen. (Dr.) Mwaura, who says that it is a very good and progressive Bill, but we have to put it in a different format. Of course, for every Bill that we have, we have a stage where we can bring in those amendments. I encourage that we make the Bill better by enhancing it through amendments. view

The Bill was published on 26th November, 2021, passed by the National Assembly and referred to the Senate on the 17th of February 2022. The principal object of the Bill is to amend the SACCO Society Act No. 14 of 2008 by providing the usage of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in collecting and receiving statutory reports.
