Mr. Speaker, Sir, could the Assistant Minister tell us when he will post doctors to that health centre? If possible, we would like that health centre upgraded to a sub-district hospital since it is the only one serving 35,000 people.

Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, on the same note, could the Assistant Minister tell us what plans the Government has to do the adjudication in areas where it has not been done? For instance, in Lamu, there is a port which is going to come up and yet the people do not have title deeds. There is a big danger of people being evicted left, right and centre in the name of squatters on Government land.

I would like to lay on the Table the report which shows the problems the people of Lamu have gone through as a result of the shifta menace. There are about 98,000 people who have suffered. menace. I went to resettle them and now I have a case in court as a result of that. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am shocked that the Minister is saying she is not aware of that issue. There is a report on this issue. I want to lay it on the Table for the Minister to go through so that she may get the useful information that can assist her resettle the people in Lamu.
