In getting extra clarification from the same Statement, the report we have just received says that police have arrested 12 youth in the protests that have been going on for the past two days. It is very unfortunate that the late Sheikh Abdi Rogo was killed using 22 bullets in broad daylight in very heavy traffic road in Bamburi. The Police Department has not disclosed whether they have arrested anyone in connection with the killing. However, they have arrest 12 youths so far. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Minister and his Permanent Secretary for banning all the tuition holiday classes for both public and private schools. My question is: What criterion did the Assistant Minister use in Mombasa County to pick the two schools; namely, Mama Ngina Girls and Shimo la Tewa? view

From the answer given by the Assistant Minister, he has only mentioned four schools out of 12 which received the Kshs25 million. When will the Assistant Minister send the money for the rest of the eight schools which have not received the Kshs25 million for the first year, not for the other years? view
• 8 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the field is not fair for all Kenyans in the ongoing Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruitment. Maybe, the Assistant Minister was not aware that it would fall on the month of Ramadhan. All Muslims are fasting. Muslim applicants have a very difficult time while participating in the exercise. Could he repeat the exercise in areas where Kenyan Muslims had applied because the physical conditions demanded are not fair to them? view

This project was supposed to be done in Mvita Constituency under the Rehabilitation Island Sewerage. Could the Assistant Minister tell us who the contractor is and where he has reached with the project so far? view
