How about being given something to do, away from just sitting at home? There is also family and parenting coaching, which is part of the rehabilitation that is required. Madam Temporary Speaker, this Motion is more than timely. I know that these issues were debated when the Petition was brought to the Floor of the House. However, it cannot be lost that the Government definitely needs to do something, through the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. Something must be done urgently, with posterity and sustainability in mind. Some of these programmes that will be set up, especially when it comes to honouring and validation of the dead, must be done in a way that can appreciate the lives of Kenyans who ...

Madam Temporary Speaker, as I move this Motion, I congratulate Sen. Khaniri for bringing it forward and being passionate about it. There is no health without mental health. That does not mean that our disciplined forcers are not included. Even if it was not in The Mental Health (Amendment) Bill, some legislation must also come from this House that takes care of all our disciplined forces.
