We want to have students who, after finishing school, are able to put into practice the issues they have learnt in schools. We have so many graduates who have studied different fields but they cannot implement what they have learnt in school. That is why we have not addressed employment gap in this country. view
  • 24 Sep 2019 in National Assembly: On the issue of inspections of school, we have taken care of that through the quality assurance departments. We have recommended to the Ministry to be keen on the quality assurance officers who have not done their work. We have a lot of problems in most schools in the country as a result of the slow pace by the officers in the Ministry. Most schools have not been able to get equal funding from the Ministry.   • 7 Aug 2019 in National Assembly: First, everybody is now aware that we have this cancer epidemic. It is high time that the Government is involved to conduct civic education up to the village levels so that people can understand better what cancer is. As a Government, we need to invest a lot in research. I urge the Government to set aside some money so that we can conduct enough research and create awareness. There are a lot of narratives which are going around about cancer. view
