This Motion is long overdue. Everybody in this country appreciates the work of these good village elders. Most Members of Parliament here know. When we vet those who are to be beneficiaries of bursaries, we all rely on these village elders. When the Government wanted to initiate and push for 100 per cent transition to Form One, these are the only people who knew the students very well within the villages. Machogu about Members’ facilities and services. I would like to encourage and pray that the Chairman continues with that spirit. When we came to Parliament, the Members were not enjoying the facilities as expected. After complaints from the Members, the Committee has really tried to push for the betterment of the facilities. Let me take this opportunity first to congratulate this Committee which seems to be very much dedicated in discharging its duties. I will just be very straight to the point that it is not that drones are bad. They are good but there must be a way of regulating their use. When it comes to security, it is very important and paramount to put security measures for our people. We cannot just allow drones to be moved anyway and anywhere without any regulation.
