  • 7 Oct 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Allow me to comment on the first Petition concerning the National Prayer Day and the second one presented by my colleague, Hon. Atandi. Hon. Speaker, as much as it is extremely important that we have a prayer day and that Kenya becomes a prayerful country, I think we go to church every single day and in the Bible, it is always said you should pray every single day. Honestly speaking, it might not be extremely necessary to have a National Prayer Day. Yes, we have so many challenges, but we should keep on praying every single ... view
  • 7 Oct 2021 in National Assembly: teachers were duped to believe this is a functioning and profitable bank. Those who are responsible, be it at the SACCO or at the CBK should be held to account. • 6 Oct 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. Just to put it on record, we are here because of the process of winnowing. Most of the issues have been thrashed out by those who are interested in making amendments. It is important that we incorporate county governments because agriculture is a devolved function and some aspect of the business of production and selling of sugarcane are devolved. Some aspects of trade are devolved too. I support the amendment. view
  • 6 Oct 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chair, the import of this amendment is to bring stability in the sugar industry and probably drive towards a minimum return for a farmer in the sugar industry.
