My concern was about the packaging of the ivory that was arrested, packaged among exported tea. I had requested to know the circumstances under which tea was involved in smuggled contraband goods that were arrested in Thailand. I only had one reply that the answer was not ready and that more time was given for the answer to be given. However, we must be careful about certain things. Although, we desire to have equitable distribution of universities in our country, we must give careful thought on the establishment of universities. The response was good because we had a conference on tea but up to date, I have not received an answer from the Cabinet Secretary or a report from the Committee. I am grateful for the action that the Chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has taken and appreciate the answer that he has given this afternoon. However, there is an acting Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary in office. I believe that despite the fact that the substantive Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, is out of office, the acting Cabinet Secretary can still carry out the functions of the office so that some work goes on.
