In fact, 56, 000 bags of maize from this scheme has actually been distributed as famine relief to the people of Tana River County and part of Kilifi County. Indeed, I have gone through the statement and I know some of the shortcomings. Senators have rightfully pointed out and it will be very important to follow up this issue in order to save this country from having answers like these which do not mitigate the issues at hand. It was read and accepted in this House. Under these circumstances as well, the Cabinet Secretary is not the only one who can sign the Statement, it can be signed by the Principal Secretary like it has been done before. The earliest we can get the report from the Ministry of Devolution and Planning is on Sunday. However, we are not sitting until Tuesday.
