EACC plays a critical role in the fight against corruption. Speaker, the essence of this amendment is to re-allocate Kshs500 million from the State Department for Tourism on Tourism Development and Promotion Programme to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). We have a very serious issue of outstanding bills in the IEBC to the tune of almost Ksh3 billion. What has been validated is Kshs1.5 billion. That is the essence of this amendment.
