• 4 Oct 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, we are leaving this Question without a proper answer. The Assistant Minister says the project will be completed on 31st October. I would like to request you to defer this Question to a day after the 31st, October, so that we can see who is telling the truth. We cannot just leave it like that. The market is supposed to serve the people of Vihiga and it has taken a long time. This is why I brought the issue to the House. view
• 3 Oct 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is for the same reason that the Minister is advancing that I stand to oppose. He is saying that they are professionals and people of high integrity. The jobs of commissions are given to people of integrity and professionals, who must do their work within the given time. It is the specialized nature of their work that requires them to keep time. It should also be a lesson to other commissions, because they are appointed for a specified and then they spent a lot of time on squabbles instead of starting to do their work. ... view

I think the Assistant Minister is evading the Question that has been addressed to his office and the police fall under his Ministry. Is the Assistant Minister in order to evade handling the matter which falls under his Ministry? He should at least get the police involved in this matter and sort it out. view

These private people are just exploitative; others try to get donor funds to run institutions which are not even there. So, what is the Government doing to ensure that they embrace all since it is the responsibility of the Government to protect citizens? view

Some districts now do not have District Commissioners (DC), because the DCs are taking tour. Is he in order to avoid answering that question? view
