(Prof.) Anyang’-Nyong’o on why Ugandan authorities have been belligerent in spite of the fact that various measures have been put in place to try and resolve the issue of Migingo Island, I agree with him that this matter has taken quite a while to be resolved. As I said earlier, there are already police officers on the island. They are giving our fishermen the protection they require, both individually and in their fishing undertakings.
