• 7 Jun 2016 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, before you came in, I rose on a point of order with regard to the utterances made by Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale that Mr. Isaack Hassan is a thief. I said it was not fair for Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale to refer to him as a thief because he is not here to defend himself and I demanded that he substantiate. At that juncture, the Chair directed that we first deal with the Anti-Doping Bill and when we resume we pursue the matter. view

In Hulugho Sub-District Hospital in Garissa County, the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) constructed huge staff buildings, pump house and put up some poles in the last ten years. We wish to know when the generator will be supplied and when electricity will be installed in the sub-district hospital which is only five kilometres away from the Somali border. view

• 3 May 2016 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, we are told that 13 people are absentee landlords and that some advertisements were put in the papers. We know that most nomadic communities do not have access to newspapers but they have chiefs and assistant chiefs. If they are known, why can this information not be given to chiefs and assistant chiefs so that they can trace these people wherever they are?
