• 3 Dec 2019 in Senate: (3) Sub Judice Rule – The Committee observed the sub judice rule cited by the Ministry claiming that the cases which were the subject of the Petition are active in court. The Petition was not available to the Ministry because the cases are not currently active in court and the petitioners had exhausted all court remedies. view

As indicated in the Report, in all the cases, judgment had been rendered and a certificate of taxation and certificates of order issued. The petitioners have, therefore, exhausted all remedies. view
