Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while I send my condolences and sympathy to the people of Mandera and Wajir couunties, I want to state that, as we all know, AlShabaab had vowed that they were going to revenge against Kenya. My suspicion is that their raid in Kenya was outside the sector which is being looked after by the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF). Mr. Speaker, Sir, first, I would like to say that these people are devil worshipers. They are not Muslims because Muslims do not allow people to take the lives of others. Killing of children and women is a satanic way of doing things. The international community has branded these people “Islamists”. They should be called “terrorists”. That is their brand name.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, as a nation, we are saddened for what has happened at Westgate Mall. We send our condolences to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones. We wish those who were injured and are in hospital quick recovery. On the same breadth, we want to congratulate His Excellency the President and other leaders who have joined together in spite of their political differences in order to deal with this problem as people of one nation. We cannot also forget the international community which has sent its support.
