The Governor of Uasin Gishu County and the committee that was formed for the conferment of the municipality has done a wonderful job and allowed us to see the beautiful city of champions. Following the promulgation of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the advent of devolution, the Youth Polytechnic Training function was subsequently transferred to the county governments pursuant to the Fourth Schedule of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
