  • 22 Oct 2014 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to contribute to this Motion on the Presidential Address. I have listened to a number of people since yesterday and I kept on waiting to get my chance. So, I thank you very much. I want to begin by saying that I am one of the few people from the CORD affiliate parties who attended Parliament sitting during the Presidential Address. view

We also make interventions and seek guidance on general practice and procedures in this House. I respect all that he said. However, I wish he would be corrected for the interest of everyone. view

  • 22 Sep 2014 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for allowing me also to contribute to this very important Bill which was processed through the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights. From the outset, I want to say that through this Bill, the Senate will play its rightful role as the protector and promoter of the interests of the county as clearly defined in our Constitution. This particular Bill will help standardize as is clearly spelt out here, the manner in which petitions will be laid out to county assemblies. Unless we do that, knowing the level of our county assemblies, we ... view
  • 2 Sep 2014 in Senate: Mr. Chairman, Sir, just before we moved into this session, there was a request by the Senator for Busia, Sen. Wako and I remember I was even called upon to contribute and which I would have ably done--- Besides the irrelevancies we are talking about and the provisions of the Standing Orders, there seem to be a The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
