I send my condolences to them and also congratulate Sen. Cherargei for bringing this matter to the House because we get an opportunity to not only condole, but to also look for solutions to the issues affecting athletes in general considering they have a lot of problems. view

Anywhere we go and hire a taxi and say we are Kenyans, the first thing we are told is about our runners. It is the first thing we are known for around the globe and that we are fast runners. This is a good thing. As Sen. Wetangula has said, we have beaten big nations and ensured that our country is on the world map when it comes to sports. view
