  • 19 Oct 2021 in Senate: Security of any individual in any country is the responsibility of the State. The State must, therefore, stand up and take responsibility for the protection of our athletes, especially the young women. The young women are disproportionately affected by murders, violence, maiming and all manner of violence against women. This is not necessarily a women issue, but the women are disproportionately affected. view

  • 29 Sep 2021 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. With all due respect to senior counsel, is it fair to now decide to use the Equalization Fund report to settle scores around the oversight fund? Is he saying that we now paralyze everything because we did not get that? Is this really about us or is it about something else? I think it is not in order. It is in fact irrelevant because we cannot paralyze because of other things that we did not get. Is that really fair? view
