• 26 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: (i) On Article 46, on the Consumer Protection Bill, the Attorney-General has confirmed that there is already a Consumer Protection Act, 2012, which Parliament enacted in December, 2012. The Attorney-General and the Commission for Implementation of the Constitution (CIC) have agreed in writing that the Act suffices for the purpose of meeting the constitutional deadline of 27th August, 2014. view
