• 21 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: National Planning is here… We have put a provision that based on what is happening, the CBK should produce and submit to the House regulations on that business within 30 days. It is now more than five months from September last year. In my opinion, the Chair of Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning is failing in his duty. It was through an RTGS. The people I represent go to livestock markets and they have to carry cash. People from Embu, Mwingi and Nairobi go to the biggest livestock market in Garissa. Traders cannot withdraw money to buy cattle. Citizens who sell their animals cannot deposit money. When you sell your three camels, you are asked where you got the money from.
