  • 29 Apr 2021 in National Assembly: mzigo wa kutulipa mishahara sisi Wabunge 416. Tunazungumzia kumwongezea mzigo wa 650 wa Wabunge. Wabunge tunaupata mshahara wetu kikamilifu.

  • 19 Nov 2020 in National Assembly: Asante sana, Mhe.
  • 19 Nov 2020 in National Assembly: tuko na cover kubwa.
  • 17 Sep 2020 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries the following Question. (i) With regard to the conceptualisation and development of the Galana-Kulalu Irrigation Project, which cuts across Kilifi and Tana River counties, why did the Government proceed to lease land from residents without undertaking public participation and stakeholder engagements as provided for under Articles118 and 232 of the Constitution? (ii) In which aspects has the National Government engaged the Kilifi and Tana River counties in the project, especially with regard to employment opportunities, research and infrastructural development? (iii) Could the National Government consider ... view

  • 1 Oct 2019 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, it is very disturbing that a vehicle rolled off the ferry and 72 hours later, neither its occupants nor the vehicle have been recovered. Sadly, there appears to be very slow action by the Kenya Ferry Services, the Kenya Navy, the Kenya Coast Guard Services, Kenya Ports Authority and other related Government agencies in the search and rescue efforts. view
  • 1 Oct 2019 in National Assembly: There is need to expedite response and rescue activities, including streamlining the general management of disasters. I further wish to express my displeasure at the slow, uncoordinated actions undertaken by the concerned government agencies and wish to compel them to fast-track their efforts in a bid to improve the safety of all ferry passengers in our water channels. view
